Este artículo se vale de la licencia creativa que permite la escritura para construir un encuentro académico ficticio con Paulo Freire, en un esfuerzo por revisar algunos de los conceptos centrales de su propuesta pedagógica. Desde la perspectiva de la contemporaneidad se intenta hacer un acercamiento en forma coloquial a ciertos factores que configuran el diario vivir de los educadores.
