Abstract

The author hereby describes the theorizing process of his doctoral thesis, on the existence of a human movement science that beyond physical education, starts by positioning the individual as a person, and as a human being. This process makes him go deeper on current discussions followed on social reasearch, such as those related with theory-practice, the methodological difference between natural and human sciences, the difference between natural sciences, hermeneutics and humanities. Totality, scientific knowledge, severity, intelligibility and universality become categories that support his argumentation. Rosseau, Hume, Marx, Husserl, Heidegger, Marcuse, Adornment, Ricoeur, Rorty, Blondel, among others, work Pleiad studied that announces the ample epistemic effort made by Manuel Sergio. From key nodes and conceptual basis, the author establishes a critical and systemic treatment that allows him to form a vision \ representation of the field of human movement.
