LO BIOLOGICO Y LO SOCIAL EN LA FILOSOFIA DE LA SALUD DEL HOMBRE
Abstract
The Health of Man, a Philosophical Problem
Philosophy is, first of all, a conception of the world. By this term we mean not simply the sum of criteria about the world, but a certain integral representation of it, which includes: clarifying the place of man in the world, as well as the orientation of his activity or the essential programmatic principles of his conscious attitude towards reality.
Unlike other forms of conception of the world (mythological, religious, etc.) philosophy fulfills its conceptual function on the basis of the theoretical attitude towards reality, contrasting the anthropomorphism of mythology with the idea of the world as a field of action of objective impersonal forces, on the one hand, and with the traditional and natural of myth, the search and conscious choice of representations based on logical and gnoseological criteria, on the other hand (1).
