El brindis infeliz es sin dudas un estudio importante y valiente. Explora un elemento de la violencia en la pareja que ha sido tabú desde hace mucho tiempo entre feministas e investigadores: el papel que desempeña el alcohol como factor en la frecuencia y la severidad de la violencia en las relaciones de pareja.
