PREVALENCIA DE PATOLOGIA AUDITIVA EN TRABAJADORES DE UNA EMPRESA TEXTIL
Abstract
1. Definition of the problem of noise in the environment and in industry
Noise with levels and characteristics capable of entailing a health risk is found at practically all work levels, even in classically non-noisy activities. In the industrial process, the greater number of exposed workers and the socio-labor problem, has intensified the scientific concern to know the mechanisms of production of its pathology, to evaluate it rationally and in this way to find the most adequate means to prevent it, since given the characteristics of its irreversibility there is no treatment once the damage has been established (1).
