Abstract

We present a historical review of the advances in the knowledge on the different agents causing A-B-C-D-E viral hepatitis and a perspective on some other agents with the same viral structure, which are hypothetical at present but might continue widening the alphabet of viral hepatitis to F, G and other viruses.
