La Revista Facultad de Ingeniería Universidad de Antioquia ascendió a la máxima Categoría en la I Actualización del Índice Bibliográfico Nacional – Publindex, 2008. La indización en la categoría A1 es de dos años comprendidos entre el 1 de enero de 2008 y el 31 de diciembre de 2009. Este importante acontecimiento es motivo de gran satisfacción ya que conducirá necesariamente a incrementar el impacto de los trabajos que se publican en ella y consecuentemente, los autores se sentirán mejor recompensados en su esfuerzo, al alcanzar una mayor visibilidad científica en Latinoamérica y el mundo.
