En este artículo se hace una revisión del estado actual de la catálisis en Colombia. Se empieza con una reseña sobre las tendencias mundiales en aspectos relacionados con la química y el medio ambiente, mostrando cómo dichas tendencias han influido en la investigación sobre Catálisis que se realiza en Colombia. Luego se plantean algunos retos que surgen de las necesidades de la industria nacional resaltando una serie de oportunidades, previamente identificadas, para el desarrollo de tecnologías catalíticas con base en la gran cantidad de recursos naturales disponibles en nuestro país.Downloads
