Conductive polymers, polyaniline, pH effect, morphology, electrical propertiesAbstract
The effect of the solution pH on the morphology and conductivity of electropolymerized polyaniline was studied via scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and faradaic impedance. Although polyaniline grows in both acidic and basic media, it was found that films polymerized at pH higher than 2.0 suffer structural changes which affected polymer conductivity.
