Estimar críticamente una obra terminada resulta una tarea sencilla, lo realmente complicado es elaborarla, por tanto el interés es este escrito es reconocer, con base en los fundamentos teóricos de la lexicografía, la superestructura, la macroestructura y la microestructura que subyace en el Diccionario del español Usual en México, con el objetivo de realizar una aproximación teórica y valorativa a la obra lexicográfica desde las diferentes estructuras que componen el diccionario.
