Abstract

This article presents the results of a study that where the effectiveness of a teaching strategy based on solving practical problems in context is test. Such strategy is guided by processes of experimental modeling while improving the overall capacity of solving problems of students. For this reason, it proposes a quasi-experimentation research with two sample groups, the control and experimental group; and the implementation of a post-test on the ability influence on the ability of eleventh students to solve problems.
