Abstract

Cuando en cualquier época, en cualquier escenario, en cualquier parte del mundo, se hable de la UNIVERSIDAD como INSTITUCION, será ineludible hacer referencia al pensamiento, la vida, y la obra del R.P. Alfonso Borrero Cabal S.J. En este artículo se destaca su gestión magisterial como Director Ejecutivo de ASCUN desde la perspectiva de su empeño en obtener la consagración de la autonomía universitaria en la Constitución y las Leyes de Colombia, su desvelo por formar dignos, versados y eficientes dirigentes universitarios a través del Simposio Permanente Sobre la Universidad, y su concepción del Maestro en la Educación en lo Superior y para lo Superior.
