Como es de público conocimiento, el pasado 6 de febrero en Medellín, los rectores de las universidades que integran el Subsistema de Universidades Estatales-SUE, designaron una comisión rectoral conformada por los rectores de las universidadespúblicas de Antioquia, Valle, Cauca, Nariño, Magdalena y Nacional, para estudiar con el Ministerio de Educación las inquietudes que surgieron con la expedición del Decreto 2912 de 2001.
