ResúmenAbstract
La ASOCIACION COLOMBIANA DE LIMNOLOGÍA (ACL-Limnos) es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro creada en 1992 que agrupa a investigadores e instituciones dedicadas al estudio de los ecosistemas epicontinentales acuáticos colombianos. Su primer presidente fue el profesor Jaime Aguirre y su secretario el profesor Roberto Quiñones, ambos pertenecientes al Instituto de Ciencias Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. El I Seminario Colombiano de Limnología se desarrolló en la ciudad de Bogotá en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia durante los días 17 al 20 de noviembre del año de creación de la Asociación.
