The teaching profession has specific characteristics which may cause disturbances in health, such as Burnout. This health imbalance also causes consequences to education and institutions. Nevertheless, there are strategies to ease this situation, as well as physical activity. Objective: analyze the scientific literature on the relationship between the syndrome of burnout and physical activity in teachers, through a systematic review. Method: The review followed the recommendations of the Cochrane Collaboration and The PRISMA Statement and were carried out in electronic databases MEDLINE via PubMed, Scopus (Elsevier), Web of Science and PsycInfo. Results: Only four articles were selected. Conclusion: Although few studies, all results have shown the positive effect of physical activity or exercise on the high levels of emotional exhaustion and Burnout, on the intention of migration or completely leave the profession, as well as lower propensity to the development of Burnout in those physically active.
