El agua de debajo. Juan Leonel Giraldo

Si tal y como afirma Buffon, “Le style est l ’homme même”, Juan Leonel Giraldo es una prueba patente e innegable de ello. En Colombia y en el mundo varios ejemplos de delicada mezcla de periodismo y de literatura han dado pruebas de la validez de este género en el ámbito de las letras. El italiano Claudio Magris, en su recopilación La historia no ha terminado, afirma que el trabajo periodístico “es una creativa y a veces hasta peligrosamente compleja escuela de entrenamiento para el buen combate”. Entiéndase, una suerte de lucha kafkiana para plasmar un verosímil reflejo de la realidad. En alguna ocasión, Giraldo se definió como un impostor del periodismo, puesto que considera esta etiqueta asfixiante. Todas lo son. No obstante, Joseph Kessel sostiene: “Cuando habla el talento, no hay ni periodistas ni novelistas. Hay escritores”. Este nuevo libro es pues muestra de la calidad de un autor en toda la complejidad y madurez de la palabra.

Therefore, this requirement must be met by the authors upon receipt of the manuscript.

- The authors will sign the declaration of transfer of economic rights to the Estudios de Literatura Colombiana, after acceptance of the manuscript.
- Authors may not withdraw the manuscript once it has been approved for publication. Otherwise they will have to bear the costs of the process. If they intend to withdraw the manuscript before its approval, they must send an official statement approved by all the authors.
- The material created by you may be distributed, copied and exhibited by third parties if and only if it is specified in the credits.
