Actualmente existe evidencia científica sólida sobre los beneficios de la práctica regular de actividad física, a partir de la cual se han elaborado recomendaciones internacionales sobre la cantidad de actividad física semanal que la población general puede realizar para obtener los beneficios en salud documentados.
