ESTUDIO DE ALGUNOS FENOMENOS DURANTE EL PARO MEDICO EN EL INSTITUTO COLOMBIANO DE SEGUROS SOCIALES
Abstract
The continuous search for useful means to provide better health to man has led us in recent years to better develop the concept of health and thus to a better understanding of this vital human phenomenon. Thanks to the fruitful contribution of the social sciences, the narrow concept of health, which guided the medical sciences in the past, has been changing until it has been transformed into a concept with broad limits that allow us to understand the intricate web of factors that act on human beings to determine their health. These ideological advances in the field of health are paving the way for science, technology, administration and policy to better adjust to reality and direct their efforts in the direction that promises greater usefulness in terms of health and well-being.
