ESTUDIO DE MORTALIDAD DE LA POBLACION DE VALLEDUPAR COLOMBIA 1975
Abstract
The present investigation was carried out by analyzing the death certificates of 1975, which are kept in the offices of the Notary and the Municipal Mayor's Office of the city of Valledupar-Cesar.
A sectorization of the city was made, grouping it into 8 zones and classifying the death certificates according to the zone where the deceased person resided (Table No. 1).
The deaths were classified by age and sex (Table 2).
Out of a total of 367 deaths certified in 1975, the quality of the certificates is as follows: (Table 3).
Table 4 shows the population structure of Valledupar by age and sex in 1975.
