Lesões proliferativas ginecológicas e vitimização sexual em Córdoba, Argentina

Resumo

Objetivo: Estudar a prevalência da vitimização sexual sofrida na infância ou ocasionada pelo parceiro na vida adulta, e a associação das duas variáveis com os antecedentes de lesões proliferativas ginecológicas (displasia mamária, displasia cervical, câncer de mama e câncer de colo do útero) em uma amostra de mulheres em Córdoba, Argentina. Metodologia: 115 mulheres com mais de 18 anos de idade, em 14 cidades da província de Córdoba, responderam uma enquete entre 2017 e 2018. Foram avaliados seus dados sociodemográficos e sanitários, antecedentes de lesões proliferativas ginecológicas, vitimização sexual na infância ou pelo parceiro na vida adulta. Realizaram-se análises bivariadas e de regressão logística binária para calcular associações entre as variáveis. Resultados: 40,8% das participantes revelou antecedentes de lesões proliferativas. Ao redor de 30% da amostra total indicou ter sofrido ao menos uma experiência de vitimização sexual durante sua vida. Ser forçada pelo parceiro a manter relações sexuais sem proteção foi significativamente mais frequente nas mulheres com antecedentes de lesões proliferativas ginecológicas (12,8 %; OR = 9,80, IC 95 %: 1,14-84,38). As infeções de transmissão sexual (ITS) foram o melhor preditor dos antecedentes de lesões proliferativas ginecológicas (OR = 26,52, IC 95 %: 5,15-136,65), seguido da violência sexual ocasionada pelo parceiro na vida adulta (OR = 13,84, IC 95 %: 1,29-148,78). Conclusõe: A associação entre as ITS e as lesões proliferativas ginecológicas poderia estar influenciada por condutas como a violência sexual produzida pelo parceiro. Os resultados destacam a necessidade de identificar os potenciais determinantes sociais da saúde sexual e reprodutiva das mulheres na Argentina e na região.
