SEGUIMIENTO DE CANCER DEL UTERO
1970-1972
Abstract
The Epidemiological Study on Cancer in the Department of Quindio began in January 1970, as a prospective ten-year study, aimed at identifying a variety of epidemiological factors that are linked to the problem of cancer, which can be summarized as follows:
1. Distribution of Cancer cases in relation to location, race and sex.
2. To know the period of time elapsed between the first symptoms to diagnosis and treatment.
3. Clinical status of the disease when the first diagnosis was made.
4. Preparation of the total number of diagnosed cos, confirmed by Anatomic Pathology.
5. Description of initial treatment.
6. Survival in relation to the location of the tumor, age and sex of the patient.
7. Tumor status at the time of death.
In the present work we analyze some characteristics of Uterine Cancer, during the first three years of the Study.
