Abstract

This is a general overview of the new curriculum at Harvard Medical School (the New Pathway). The author is a professor of medicine at a traditional Latin-American Medical School who analyzes the beginning. development and current situation of this new trend In medical education; the article is based on a literature review and on the experience obtained during the author's stay at HMS between November 1993 and March 1994.
