Las zeolitas como catalizadores para el control ambiental. Remoción de óxido nítrico.

En este artículo se pretende resaltar el papel de la catálisis en el mejoramiento del medio ambiente. Se presenta una revisión de los recientes progresos en el uso de ciertos materiales zeolíticos como catalizadores para la eliminación del óxido nítrico de sistemas de combustión. Se indican los métodos más empleados para su remoción, así como las ventajas y desventajas de las soluciones propuestas en la actualidad. Se enfatiza, además, sobre la necesidad de realizar más investigación que conduzca al desarrollo de un catalizador activo para la descomposición de óxido nítrico en sus elementos.Downloads
