Una aproximación al estimativo la DBO y la DQO de aguas residuales por medio de la medida del carbono orgánico total

La medida de la materia orgánica biodegradable que contienen las aguas y aguas residuales se ha estimado tradicionalmente por medio de los parámetros DB0 y DQO. Como el tiempo requerido para la obtención del primero de ellos y la precisión lograda en ambos a menudo representan problemas cuando se ttata de cuantificar cargas contaminantes para diferentes propósitos (aplicación de normatividad o diseño de instalaciones de tratamiento), se pretende con este trabajo presentar una alternativa para la estimación de esos parámetros por medio de la medición del carbono orgánico total. Su detección se hace de forma rápida y precisa, y podría significar el acceso a una herramienta con amplias posibilidades en los trabajos de contaminación del agua y en el manejo de plantas de aguas residuales.Downloads
