Se presenta una revisión sobre algunos aspectos del funcionamiento de los motores diesel, las emisiones contaminantes producidas, así como las tecnologías catalíticas disponibles para el tratamiento de dichas emisiones. Se introduce además, el desempeño de un catalizador desarrollado en el grupo Catálisis Ambiental para la reducción de NOx en mezclas sintéticas que simulan las emisiones de motores diesel.Downloads
