Inclusion of the swamp of ayapel in the list of wetlands ramsar of international importance

This investigation work analyzes the possibility to include the swamp of Ayapel in the list of wetlands of international importance created by The Ramsar Convention. Such possibility is resolute positively, because, from the study of the Ayapel swamp case can be identify two criteria, which are defined by Ramsar as competent and necessary in order to materialize the inclusion of a wetland in the internationallist. The criteria that can be applied to the specific case of this wetland, are those related to the protection and necessity of conservation for migratory birds and the other vulnerable species or in extinction danger species, those that are present in the mentioned ecosystem.
The previous study has as objective, to look for the protection, conservation and sustainability tools; not only inside the national scope, but also inside the international one, as well as that they try benefits that are not possible to offer at the moment due to the current national measures of environmental protection.
