Abstract

This article attempts·toshape a theoreticalframework that allowsto understand the problems and collective risks produced in Colombia, from the differentiation between premodernity, modernity and postmodernity. The scholarship affirms that Colombia has a group of characteristics related to each one of the macro-divisions of the western historical transformation and, within them, a group of problems and collective risks very linked with these stages. Finally, the scholarship singles out the difficulty to deal with the problems linked to collective rights and interests to the extent that each period dernands the complete overcoming of the previous stage.
