About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Uni-pluriversidad is a publication of the Faculty of Education of the University of Antioquia. It is an open access scientific journal that seeks to consolidate itself as a means for reflection and academic debate of current research topics in Education.
The Journal publishes articles on educational research, theoretical studies, essays and reviews of topics related mainly to Higher Education training; however, it also receives contributions in other subjects related to curriculum, training and professional development, teaching and other related topics. It is published semesterly in June and December.
Peer Review Process
The manuscripts will be initially reviewed by the Editorial Committee. If the subject and the format are compatible with the journal policies, they will be subjected to a double blind evaluation by a couple of experts in the subject. In case of disagreement, the Editorial Committee will make the final decision.
Research articles, essays, short articles and pedagogical curricular and teaching innovations will be submitted to a "double blind" review by renowned researchers in the area or theme of the article. For the evaluation, the reviewers will use criteria such as:
1. Does the title and the contents correspond to the objectives of Uni-pluriversidad?
2. The announced objective is met: Fully ___ Partially ___ Not met ____
3. Is the treatment of the subject and the bibliographic sources (where necessary) appropriate?
4. What is the greatest strength of this document?
5. What is the biggest flaw in this document?
6. Do you consider that the document should be published after a slight revision and adjustment or after a radical revision and adjustment, or can it be published in its current state?
7. If the article is not publishable in its current state, what are your suggestions for the authors?

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the principle that making research available to the public free of charge contributes to a greater exchange of global knowledge. In coherence with this assumption, the documents published in Uni-pluriversidad are distributed under a Creative Commons License CC BY-NC-ND - Attribution-Noncommercial-NoDerivates 4.0. Articles from 2017 on have DOI.
