From individualism to “us”, to public scene

This article analyzes, on one side, the consumer society global tendency which pretends to mold the youngsters as consumers, competitive e individualistic to the point that they end up prioritizing the loneliness as central aspect of their lives, situation which causes a political sociability crisis. On the other side, considers that even though these global tendencies, in Medellín city there are youngsters that share a exclusion and violence common history they decide to face when they assume their own fears and the fear to others, this unleashes a struggle for the recognition that lead them to establish networks and make alliances with other youngsters to get in to the public scene.
