Abstract

El Padre Alfonso Borrero Cabal aceptó mi oferta para traducir al Español su libro “La universidad como una institución hoy” publicado por la Unesco, pero como no tenía una copia disponible, se fue a la biblioteca y encontró el documento F 370 0019, de 29 páginas tamaño cara, que resultó ser un resumen ejecutivo del libro, el que me envió con una nota, fechada en abril 22 de 2005, que dice en su parte pertinente: “No conocía el documento que te incluyo. Lo encontré en la Biblioteca General de la Javeriana. Ignoro quien en la Unesco produjo tan buena síntesis de mi libro, para una consulta posterior de la Asamblea Mundial sobre la Educación Superior, Paris, 1998.”

 

Para empezar hay una nota del Editor: Este documento fue preparado por solicitud de la Unesco y de la Universidad de las Naciones Unidas, UNU, para un estudio relacionado con la UNIVERSIDAD COMO UNA INSTITUCIÓN HOY. Marzo de 1990
