Elpresente de la Universidad Nacional esta comprometido con un legado cultural y académico que no podemos Ignorar. La Universidad Nacional ha atravesado ien años de existencia prestando con pasión su razón de Alto Centro Universitario al debate de la cultura del país y a su formación. Si la vida en los claustros pudo parecer sosegada, esa fue una imagen superficial. La Universidad Nacional ha estado implicada con los asuntos Colombianos. Ello fue inevitable por la juventud el país y por la presencia de miles de jóvenes, muchachas y muchachos que le han impuestosu espíritu nuevo a la Universidad.
