El ATENEO DE PROFESORES, (representantes de los profesores ante las diferentes instancias en la Universidad de Antioquia), ha estudiado con detenimiento el articulado de los Decretos 2880 y 2912 de 2001. No ha sido dificil establecer, corroborar y coincidir con los señalamientos de inconstitucionalidad, ilegalidad e inconveniencia para el profesorado universitario y en consecuencia para la supervivencia y calidad académica de la universidad pública, detectados por las diferentes organismos administrativos y académicas de las universidades públicas reunidas en diferentes ciudades del país.
