En esta reunión se aprobó la Declaración de Cochabamba, en la que se realizó un balance de los logros obtenidos así como los incumplimientos de los objetivos del Proyecto Principal de Educación, a partir de lo cual se han aprobado las recomendaciones sobre políticas educativas del inicio del Siglo XXI.
