This paper presents a methodology and describes his application in a real graphic design of visual communication case – production process, broadcast and receiving of visual messages- to learning and teaching in a 3D virtual world. It’s the result from the recompilation of the research group’s experiences “Metodología para la integración de mundos virtuales tridimensionales MV3D a entornos de aprendizaje en Educación Superior”. Its objective is to lay the foundation for developing projects in this type of platform. It’s important to note that stages and elements of the virtual world were created with free software, with the aim of promoting the philosophy of sharing the knowledge and developing 3D virtual worlds without making large investments in software. In this way, it favors the creation of a collaborative network.
