Artes la Revista, is a publication of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Antioquia, dedicated to the presentation of articles resulting from research in the arts. Due to the academic growth that the Faculty of Arts has had in the last 10 years, evidenced in the opening of postgraduate studies and pedagogical reflection in its degrees, the magazine also includes texts for reflection, criticism and artistic education as well as graphic work, scores, reviews and translations.

The role of art in education is essential, as it encompasses representation and expression, satisfies students' physical, perceptual, emotional, and intellectual needs, and aids in the development of motor and sensory skills. In addition, it promotes the stimulation of imagination, creativity, and self-expression, and fosters students' confidence and self-esteem. It stimulates emotional development and personal growth.
