Estudio presentado a la Sociedad de Antropología Antioqueña en su sesión N° 10 del 16 de Julio de 1954. Su autor conocido internacionalmente por sus famosos estudios de botánica, historia y filología especialmente, nos presenta este trabajo, un nuevo y bien documentado aporte a uno de los más apasionantes aspectos de la antropolgía, como es el poblamiento de América. Tema que aún por muchos años no se agotará, ni perderá su actualidad, pues gran parte de las teorías permanecen en el campo de la hipótesis.
