Desde su fundación en 1953, momento en que el antropólogo Graciliano Arcila Vélez pensara, diseñara y publicara el primer número de nuestro Boletín, han pasado por el Comité Editorial y como editores, reconocidos profesores de nuestro Departamento de Antropología; quienes con arrojo y dedicación han desempeñado funciones editoriales. El más reciente de los nuestros en cumplir la honrosa tarea de editor fue el profesor Jonathan Echeverri, quien logró, junto con el equipo editorial, que nuevamente estuviéramos categorizados en los primeros lugares de indexación del orden nacional, de tal forma que hoy podemos decirles a todos ustedes, nuestros queridos colaboradores, lectores y comunidad académica en general, que el Boletín de Antropología vuelve a estar indexado en la categoría B de Publindex y que se mantiene en los principales directorios científicos, bibliotecas digitales, índices bibliográficos y bases de datos del continente americano.
