El Boletín de Antropología de la Universidad de Antioquia, consciente de la responsabilidad que significa ser uno de los principales órganos de difusión de la antropología en la región, asume con vehemencia los constantes y apasionantes retos que le imponen el mundo académico y disciplinar, la compleja realidad social y el contexto editorial contemporáneo. En esta oportunidad, presentamos a nuestros lectores, autores y evaluadores un conjunto de artículos que discurren por diferentes ámbitos de las ciencias sociales y humanas, producto de sendas investigaciones y reflexiones. No obstante, antes de presentar tales documentos, es pertinente abordar recientes discusiones en el campo del mundo editorial en Colombia, particularmente, y en Latinoamérica, en general.
