Motivations and reluctance to change in families with adolescent children

This paper presents key aspects of the research between young adolescents and their
family in Medellín, performed for a qualitative approach the goal was to understand the dynamics of the tension between parents and adolescents and interpretations of the experiences derived from it. Several aspects indicate the existence of hot spots: family perceptions, communication, management standards, emotional expression, body aesthetics, youth activities and the use of digital technologies.
