Preservation and interoperability policy

The Boletín de Antropología is a journal that publishes its content in open access, distributed through the OJS platform of the University of Antioquia's journal system under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

On the Boletín de Antropología website, hosted at https://revistas.udea.edu.co/index.php/boletin/index, you can find the current and previous issues, metrics, indexing, policies, editorial team information, and contact details.

The Universidad de Antioquia provides the Sistema de Revistas platform, hosted at https://revistas.udea.edu.co/, for open access to all journals published by the university community, and the information is preserved with the support of the University's IT support team.

It is integrated into PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a network dedicated to the digital preservation of journals in the OJS system. For more information about PKP PN, you can visit the following link: https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pn/. You can check the archive status at: https://portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2390-027X.

The Boletín de Antropología uses the OAI-PMH interoperability protocol, which allows the transfer of its digital resources, in this case, its published articles, to other systems or platforms. The metadata schema used in the Journal is Dublin Core and this ensures a curation of the data that are linked in the fields or in the established metadata, for an adequate transfer and interoperability between platforms.
