The paper offers an analysis of the archaeological maps produced in Colombia during
the 19th and 20th centuries, from an approach that seeks to understand how the spatialization practices of the narratives about the pre-Columbian past of the country interacted with contemporary processes of territorial configuration of the nation-state, and the emergency and consolidation of regional and local identities.
