La globalización en sus dimensiones económica, social y política

La necesidad de " conseguir que la mundialización se convierta en una fuerza positiva para todos los habitantes del mundo" -como lo señala la Declaración del Milenio de las Naciones Unidas- es, sin duda, el reto más importante del mundo actual. Aunque la globalización responde a procesos tecnológicos y económicos dinámicos, no cabe duda de que puede ser moldeada. De hecho, la forma que ha ido adoptando ha estado determinada, en gran medida, por decisiones explícitas de política.
