Abstract
The research was aimed at finding the handlers that will represent the greatest risk to public health due to:
- The finding of germs compatible with pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae, identified by biochemical tests.
- Healthy carriers of coagulase-positive Staphylococci in the throat and in lesions on the skin of the arms, hands and face.
- Coliforms with emphasis on Escherichia coli in hand smears and samples taken from the inner part of the nails.
- Deficient habits.
