Con este número, el primerodel año 2020, cerramos la celebración de los cuarenta años de creación de esta publicación seriada, que se cumplieron en el segundo semestre del año pasado, cuyo acto central se llevó a cabo en el marco del III Congreso Internacional de Investigación Lingüística, realizado en Medellín, en la Universidad de Antioquia,los días 4, 5 y 6 de septiembre de 2019, organizado por el Grupo de Estudios Lingüísticos Regionales.
