This essay does a discursive analysis of the Miss Antioquia 2008’s answer, in the Evening of election and coronation of the Colombian National Beauty Contest. This is done using concepts derived from both the theory of information processing, such as linguistics. Is concluded the answer was caused by a cognitive bias, because she used an anchoring and adjustment heuristic.
