El profesor y la formación ciudadana

La formación ciudadana se convierte en el encargo fundamental que la sociedad le hace a la educación y a la pedagogía para que, gradualmente sea logrado en los estudiantes, en el transcurso de su ascenso por el sistema educativo. Actualmente este propósito de formación ciudadana, se convierte en un eje transversal que debe ser enseñado de manera conciente, sistemática y planificada a través del desarrollo de las competencias ciudadanas en los estudiantes; para lograrlo, hay una necesidad inicial de explorar y analizar las significaciones que los profesores del contexto le asignan a esta formación.
