Pedagogía crítica y movimientos sociales: Apuntes para el debate de una educación no formal crítica

El presente artículo pretende describir y relacionar aspectos concernientes al concepto de educación no formal, para mirar cómo éste ha potenciado el mejoramiento de los procesos de aprendizaje que serían imposibles de realizar solamente con la interacción que se produce con la escuela formal y el medio, y plantear entonces una educación y pedagogía críticas que permitan establecer, de una manera más precisa, las relaciones entre conocimiento, poder y movilidad social. Se concluye que la educación no formal tiene que ser necesariamente crítica y que tanto ésta como la escuela deben propender por preparar a los estudiantes para la realización de un rol activo, crítico e innovador acorde con las exigencias de hoy.
