Reflexiones acerca del centro

El presente ensayo habla de las diferentes formas y contextos de la palabra centro, al tiempo que se piensa en los problemas que desestabilizan el orden social y que retan a los docentes a pensar en una mejor manera de enfrentar los conflictos sociales en el aula de clase y a proponer una mejor forma para leer la realidad.
Se recurre a definiciones geométricas para mostrar, tangencialmente, cómo la matemática no es ajena a los procesos sociales y políticos, y la aplicación de principios matemáticos en un contexto social puede hacer que se perfeccionen las relaciones de los individuos o se cree un manto de duda o una cortina de humo derivada de una interpretación mediocre.
