Abstract

Re-use or destruction of places like Montecasino and La Cathedral could show how much it is necessary to forget or to remember, in order to “start again” the Colombian citizenship project, not just in Antioquia, but in all of the Colombian State characterized by its fragile institutionality. Conflict or collusion between the mafia and the State, must be understood in the context of permissiveness of legal actors performing illegal actions, that is to say, the grandiose justifications that are made of some of the perpetrators, and the hierarchical moralization of the victims (legal or illegal) of the conflict.
