Music is quite possibly the most ductile and social of the arts. Listening to and experiencing music can easily be experienced simultaneously by multiple individuals. This collective experience, much more complex to achieve in other artistic manifestations, catalyzes cross-sensitizations between artists and audiences, creating powerful emotional connections that other more "rational", less "bodily" expressions can hardly achieve massively.
